We offer a full daycare service for 0 – 5-year-olds, and continue this service through to the early years at school, providing continuity and familiarity for both children and their parents. This allows for routines to remain the same for the children while being convenient for working parents.
All Ark team members are experienced and highly qualified early years practitioners. Chosen for their caring and compassionate nature, our team are committed to providing outstanding quality childcare in a happy, friendly and stimulating environment.
Included within the daily rate are lots of extra fun and varied activities for the children to enjoy. Including Makaton, short walks around the village, yoga, visits to the local primary school, music & movement sessions and cooking, baking, Diddidance and Heartbeep sessions.
We have four specially designed rooms to promote and encourage all aspects of children’s development.
As children grow, they move between our baby, toddler and preschool rooms, each of which are age-appropriate and provides a new environment to learn and explore. The nursery also has access to four outdoor garden areas so children can enjoy lots of fresh air and have fun with the natural world.
At The Ark, our dedicated senior team brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion to Early Years education. We are committed to creating a nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow and thrive. With a strong focus on building positive relationships with children and families, our team is passionate about giving every child the best possible start.
I have spent over 30 years teaching in the Early Years in Shropshire Schools and have now taken on the role of manager at The Ark. I am passionate about teaching and learning in the Early Years especially in the outdoors! When I am not working I like to spend time with my family in the countryside.
I have worked at The Ark since 2010 when I started as an apprentice. I have working in all our rooms from babies through to pre school. I am passionate about the Eraly Years especially about the positive relationships we build with parents and children in our care. When I am not working I like having lots of fun with my young family.
I have been part of The Ark Team since 2005. I began my time as house keeping staff and quickly trained to be an Early Years Practitioner. I also lead one of our Pre School rooms and especially enjoy preparing our Pre School children for their schools. When I am not working I love to walk my dog Groot.
